Since its inception, Pacific Resolutions has worked in partnership
with many different organizations including the International Ombudsman
Institute, the University of Victoria Institute for Dispute Resolution,
and a variety of local and national government
agencies in Canada , Thailand , Cambodia and Brazil. Most recently
Pacific Resolutions has entered into an association with Gowling
Lafleur Henderson LLP based on a mutual interest in combining the
strategic conflict management experience of Pacific Resolutions with
Gowling’s excellent reputation for legal counsel.

Project Examples
Kitasoo Xaixais Gitga'at Protcol and Pilot
Project. Two First Nations on the BC coast (Kitasoo Xaixais and Gitga'at) spearheaded this pilot project, which focused
on collaborative testing and development of EBM concepts and methodologies
as well as Conservation Financing models. The pilot was initiated
and jointly funded on the basis of a protocol agreement between these
First Nation’s, forest companies and environmental groups.
Over a two year period the pilot process developed and delivered
EBM concepts and methodologies that made significant contributions
to the Coast Information Team, FN planning processes and provincially
sponsored multi-party planning processes.
